Chalk Ridge Falls Session
I did a lifestyle session out at Chalk Ridge Falls recently, and the whole area had that deep green, slightly moody feel to it that works really well for photos. The trees were full, the light was soft, and everything just had a natural tone without needing much from me.
Natural, Simple Approach
We kept things pretty relaxed and just worked with the environment instead of trying to overcomplicate anything. Walking through the trails and using whatever light was coming through at the time ended up being the best approach for this one.
The greens and shadows gave everything a more cinematic look, but still kept it grounded and real.
Final Thoughts
Chalk Ridge is one of those places that doesn’t need much done to it. If you just let the setting do its thing, you end up with images that feel natural and a little bit timeless without forcing a specific style.
